Blankfort Further Acoustic Testing

Further acoustic testing of Blankfort in conjunction with Norsound at the UKAS accredited facility of Sound Research Laboratories with outstanding results:

• 45mm Blankfort 30 and 30+ – 35dB in double doors
• 45mm Blankfort 30 and 30+ – up to 35 dB glazed
• 54mm Blankfort 60 and 60+ – 36 dB in double doors
• 54mm Blankfort 60 and 60+ – up to 38dB glazed

Blankfort Further Fire Testing

Further successful fire testing at UKAS accredited testing facility of Chiltern International Fire, Blankfort 60 and Blankfort 60+ has resulted in:

• Increased glazing area permitted in both Blankfort 60 and 60+ MDF - now up to 1.10mm2 using Pilkington's 10mm Pyrodur 60 clear laminated glass
  
  
• Increased leaf sizes for Blankfort 60+ with top and bottom rails - up to 3015mm high x 915mm wide and 2750mm high x up to 1028mm wide in single doors and up to 2915mm high x 915mm wide and 2750mm high x up to 978mm wide each leaf in double doors
  
  
• Lorient Type 617 intumescent seals permitted in both Blankfort 60 and 60+ MDF
